I have a clear backround becaus of my work for the US Army and i also have good rekords and certivicates to aprove my skills i train edds patrol dogs and schutzhund dogs too.

There are several private clubs that can always use good trainers. I know of Schutzhund club in the San Diego California area that is run by a man from Brenan but I don't how much money he makes. If you were to apply for a job here in the US, most law enforcement agencies would conduct a background check to make sure that you weren't a criminal in the past. As Sniper said above, most agencies have trainers in place and that is a job that several officers want. You might want to consider importing dogs to the US, there is always a huge demand for good dogs.

Most Police Depts have a K9 unit set in place with a Master Trainer or kennel master. Under this trainer is several handler/dog teams and some departments have a 5yr waiting list just to test for the unit. Small departments sometimes find dog trainers to work with their handler/dog teams or they send a officer to dog trainers schools to start a k9 unit. You might want to find a area you would like to live and work and give demo's of the dogs you have trained to several departments and offer to train and decoy for their dogs
