Does anyone out there know what nutrients or minerals are missing in commercial dog foods that cause German Shepherds to rip up grass, roots and all, and eat it. I have tried about every high end food that exists on the market. Right now I'm feeding 1/3 Royal Canon German Shepherd, 1/3 Purina Proplan Select Chicken, and 1/3 Eucanuba German Shepherd.
